About the course:
Upon completion of the BScN Program, graduates are eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). Upon successful completion of the NCLEX, students apply for registration to the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) to practice as Registered Nurses (RN). The BScN is a four-year program of studies to prepare students to be competent nurses in various healthcare practice agencies (Institutional, Community, and International), and with people with various health concerns and diverse social and economic backgrounds. The BScN program entails eight academic semesters starting each September for 80 students. The practice courses involve various shifts (days/evenings/nights) through the week and weekends along with out-of-town placements that are a requirement for all students.
